The RUMC G.O.L.F. (God Overseeing Lovers of the Fairway) Group is a fellowship-based, small group of the Rosemount United Methodist Church made up of persons who enjoy playing golf. The G.O.L.F. Group is open to all persons - women/men, visitors/members, young/not so young, occasional/avid, novice/experienced, good/not as good. We play 9 holes at Emerald Greens GC (Hastings) on the last Sunday of every month during the months of April-October. In addition, we host the RUMC Apportionment Golf Classic in September, make a Fall road trip to Mt. Frontenac GC, and have special outings to indoor facilities and the Minnesota Golf Show during the winter months. In addition to golfing opportunities, we offer a "Heavenly Membership." This membership offers individuals the benefits of becoming an "Associate Member" of the Minnesota Golf Association. Some of the benefits include a USGA Handicap Index through the GHIN service, a subscription to Minnesota Golfer magazine (official publication of the MGA), tournament opportunities plus the knowledge that you are supporting golf throughout Minnesota!
